Hi, I’m Laura Park, a photographer based in Northern Virginia and the DMV area, specializing in babies, children, families, and maternity photography.

Originally from Mexico, I moved to the United States in 2016 to pursue my education and later earned my degree in accounting. While accounting became my profession, photography has always been my true passion.

In 2023, after becoming a stay-at-home mom to my son, Armin, I finally had the opportunity to fully pursue the photography career I had always dreamed of. Motherhood completely changed the way I see and capture moments, made me realize that capturing family memories is so important and meaningful.

Motherhood has taught me a love I had never experienced before, and it has given me something I value deeply in my work: patience. So no worries if your little ones are having a tough day during your session, I completely understand, and I will always meet them with calmness, patience, and care.

One fun fact about me: many clients are surprised when a Latina photographer shows up to their session because of my last name! People often assume I’m Korean, but I’m actually Mexican, married to a Korean.

I’m incredibly grateful for the love and support of both my husband Chris, and my sister, Liliana. Their encouragement, along with all the help they’ve given me through motherhood (especially helping care for my son while I work)  has allowed me to turn this dream into a reality.

My style is timeless, warm, and emotion-focused. I strive to create a relaxed and joyful experience.

I’m also fluent in both English and Spanish and love working with diverse families throughout the DMV area.

And if I’m not chasing after my toddler, editing photos, or out photographing sessions, you’ll probably find me trying new matcha recipes or discovering new matcha brand, I’m a huge matcha lover!
