Bon Air Ros Garden Mini Sessions: What to Expect

Hello! Thank you so much for booking your Bon Air Rose Garden Mini Session 🤍


Please take a moment to read through this short guide. It will contain with helpful tips to make sure you feel prepared, relaxed, and excited for your session. I can’t wait to capture these beautiful moments for you!

 

What to Wear

-Neutral tones, soft pastels, earth colors

-Flowy dresses for moms (movement photographs beautifully)

-Avoid logos, neon colors, and busy patterns

-Coordinate, don’t match exactly

ARRIVAL + TIMING


Please plan to arrive 5 minutes early to ensure we can start your session right on time. Mini sessions are scheduled back-to-back, so they begin promptly at the assigned time.


Come fully dressed and ready, as there won’t be time to change outfits due to the nature of mini sessions.


If you arrive late or need additional time to prepare, your session time will be shortened accordingly.

Bon Air Rose Garden - 850 N Lexington St, Arlington, VA 22205


Parking is available right in front of the garden.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR SESSION

Your session will be relaxed, natural, and guided I’ll guide you so you never have to wonder what to do.


Rather than focusing on perfect poses, we’ll focus on having fun, smile, laugh, and those moments between family.


And most importantly, your kids are welcome to be themselves. There’s no expectation for them to sit still or “behave perfectly”. Some of the most beautiful images come from letting them play, explore, and simply be kids 🤍

what to bring


Water and small, non-messy snacks

• A backup outfit for little ones (just in case!)

• A comfort item for toddlers if needed (favorite toy, blanket, etc.)

AFTER YOUR SESSION


Your online gallery will be delivered within 2 weeks of your session date, or from the day your remaining balance is paid, whichever comes later.


Your gallery will include 15 beautifully edited images.


I kindly ask that you please avoid requesting updates on your gallery before the 2 week turnaround time has passed. Thank you so much for your patience.

Rescheduling Policy



If you are unable to attend your scheduled Bon Air Rose Garden Mini Session on Saturday, please let me know You are welcome to reschedule to a Sunday time slot if availability remains.


If all Sunday spots have already been filled, I will make every reasonable effort to accommodate you by adding an additional time slot to the schedule.


If you are unable to attend on either Saturday or Sunday, your session deposit will remain on file as a credit and may be applied toward a future full session with Laura Park Photography.


If you or your child are feeling unwell, I kindly ask that you reschedule so that everyone can remain safe and comfortable.


Please note that session deposits are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash. Deposits may only be transferred to another session as outlined above.

A PERSONAL NOTE


I know you can feel pressured to focus on every little detail and make sure everyone is perfect, but I promise, your presence is what matters most. Your children don’t need perfection, they just need you.


Be in the photos. Snuggle them, laugh with them, hold them close, because these are the moments worth remembering.


Your only job is to show up, love on your family , and trust me to capture the rest 🤍
